Lindsay Moody: Charge dropped against man police allege stalked women on northern beaches
A man who police allege ‘flashed’ or stalked more than two dozen women and teenagers across the northern beaches and north shore was back in Manly Local Court.

An alleged northern beaches “flasher” had one of the more serious charges against him withdrawn in Manly Local Court on Thursday.
But Lindsay Kenneth Moody, 42, is still facing 51 charges against dozens of women including 45 relating to stalking/intimidate intend fear, physical harm and six counts of carry out sexual act with another without consent.
One of the alleged 28 victims of the builders labourer from Frenchs Forest, is a 16-year-old Year 11 student.
Strike Force Graffias detectives in the Northern Beaches Police Area Command had been investigating certain acts Moody allegedly committed against women in public areas since late 2018.
Police said women had reported the offences occurring across the northern beaches including at Narrabeen, Belrose, Davidson, Dee Why, North Curl Curl, Allambie Heights, Fairlight and Frenchs Forest between December 2018 and September 1, 2020.
Documents tendered to court alleged some offences occurred near Narrabeen and Dee Why lagoons.
Alleged offences were also carried out on the lower north shore at Cammeray and Northbridge.
A court suppression order is in place to protect the identity of the complainants and an interim suppression order made in relation to specific details of the accused’s alleged “modus operandi” — the particular way or method of doing something.
Moody is currently in custody.
He is yet to make any formal pleas but the court was told that a psychiatric report ordered by the court on has not yet been completed.
Magistrate Michelle Goodwin was told that a charge of sexual touching without consent, related to an alleged incident near Narrabeen Lagoon in July, had been withdrawn.
Lindsay Moody will be back before Manly Local Court on December 23 for mention.
He did not apply for bail.
