An Instagram model accused of a series of burglaries on the northern beaches has been forced out of her parents’ home due to the strain of the allegations on her family, Manly Local Court has been told.

Monique Marina Agostino, 23, has pleaded not guilty to breaking into a number of cafes and convenience stores in Killarney Heights, Forestville and St Ives in November last year.

As part of her strict bail conditions, Ms Agostino, a single mother of a small boy, had to reside with her parents at their home at Belrose.

In Manly Local Court on Monday, Ms Agostino applied to vary her bail conditions so she could live with a friend at an address in Brookvale instead.

Her Legal Aid solicitor told Magistrate Michelle Goodwin that Ms Agostino had a “falling out” with her parents who then told her she had to live elsewhere.

The solicitor said the charges against Ms Agostino led to a “strain in the relationship” with her parents and that her client had already moved out of the family home.
