NOW the fun begins as Supercoach Local: Battle of the Postcodes sees a bunch of teams turfed out in Round 2 and plenty of new faces in the local ladders.

A gritty 10 players out of 82 SuperCoach Local competitions kept their heads and scored enough points to hang on to their local ladder leadership.

Flossys Bandits ran over the top of Simmy in the local campaign, capitalising on an unpredictable second AFL round which saw Collingwood, Adelaide, St Kilda, Port Adelaide, Geelong, West Coast, Brisbane, Western Bulldogs and Gold Coast all bag a win.

Supercoach player Craig of Flossys Bandits sits at 4496 points and is ranked 547th nationally, 203 behind the Supercoach leader Jimmy'sJuggernauts from postcode 3212 which includes suburbs such as Point Wilson, Lara and Avalon.

In a sensational swapping of fortunes, 50 Supercoach leaders last week actually plummeted out of their local top 10 ladders in a volatile start to their seasons.

The fastest-rising local star this week was Bell **** which scored 2355 and jumped 65,124 spots nationally and is now ranked 17,650th.

There are 340 AFL SuperCoach teams in the Manly Daily’s competition.

A total of 92 Supercoach points separate first position and tenth position.

The median score for all teams nationally was 4019 this week.
