TWO northern beaches singles have married a stranger for the latest series of a hit reality show.
And Manly’s Dean Wells is set to cause a storm when he appears on Married at First Sight.
In a trailer for the latest series of the Channel Nine show, the 39 year-old, who runs a marketing agency, talks about his views, including that men should be ‘in charge.’
In the promo for the show, which starts on January 29, he says: “It’s hard to say without sounding sexist or something, but I like a girl that is a girl, and she’s girlie, and knows that I’m the man, and I’m in charge.
“Also I want someone that listens to me, and I wanna be the alpha male and she needs to respect me as a man. I think that’s a traditional role that still exists in a lot of other countries in the world and Australia’s kind of lost that.
“A lot of guys are afraid to be men now and they’re just getting whipped by their women.”
Another peninsula singleton, Gabrielle Bartlett, 44, from Frenchs Forest also walked down the aisle.
The mum of an 11 year-old daughter, who juggles a marketing job with modelling, reveals she suffers from hair loss condition alopecia. She said when she was 11 her hair fell out.
Neuropsychotherapist Dr Trisha Stratford, from Manly is one of the expert panellists.
The show starts on January 29.
