Man, 24, charged after cyclist dies two days after Belrose car crash
A driver has been charged after a man died two days after he and his cycling companion were hit by a car on Sydney’s northern beaches early on Tuesday morning.

A man has died two days after he and his cycling companion were hit by a car on Sydney’s northern beaches early on Tuesday morning.
The riders, from the North Shore, were allegedly struck while on a training ride by a Subaru station wagon at Belrose at about 6.10am.
Forest Way was closed in both directions at the intersection with Wyatt Ave as emergency services worked to clear the area.
NSW Ambulance confirmed that a Nick Sky, 47, suffered head injuries and was transported by road to Royal North Shore Hospital.
Police conformed on Thurday evening that Mr Sky had died.
The second cyclist, a 56-year-old Michael Collings, was also taken to the same hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The Subaru was damaged to the front passenger side of its windscreen and police have taken its 24-year-old male driver for mandatory blood tests.
He was then taken to Manly police station and originally charged with negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and causing bodily harm by misconduct in a motor vehicle. The driver, from the northern beaches, was granted conditional bail to front Manly Local Court on July 24.
Police hae now added aother charge of negligent driving occasioning death.
A crime scene was set up on a stretch of Forest way between Linton and Wyatt avenues.
