A huge indoor trampoline and adventure park opened its doors to cater for adrenaline junkies — of all ages — on the northern beaches

The Manly Daily was given a sneak peak this week inside the 2300 sqm BOUNCE Inc facility, built for close to $1m in an industrial park at Cromer.

Visitors to the site of the former Roche pharmaceutical plant, now the Northern Beaches Business Park, in Inman Rd, will see 50 interconnected trampolines as well as a variety of energetic activities to cater for what its operators describe as “adrenaline seekers”.

Customers can even pretend they are a Hollywood film stuntperson and throw themselves off a “cliff” into a large airbag.

It has a feature called “The Wall” with “high performance” trampolines with walls of various heights for freestyle tricks. It was described as being a “skate park made out of trampolines”.

The Cromer outlet also has a “high ropes course”, 10m off the ground as well as bouncy dodge ball and basketball courts, a ground-based obstacle course and four party rooms for hire.

BOUNCE Inc was founded in Australia. Its first venue opened in Melbourne in 2012 and now has more than 30 facilities operating across 16 countries, including 21 in Australia.

Its co-founder and executive director, Ant Morell, said that after the launch of its Homebush outlet last July, it was keen to find another Sydney location as quickly as possible.

“Our first Sydney venue in Homebush is one of the busiest in the BOUNCE network worldwide,” Mr Morrell said.

“Cromer has all the vibrant energy and passion for adventure that we expect will thrive on our

active-adventure experiences and the BOUNCE atmosphere of accessible adrenaline.

“The whole environment brings joy and social connection way beyond just the physical activity – it gets kids active, away from screens and connecting in a way that is healthy and inclusive.

“We are confident residents and visitors in or around the northern beaches will love everything

that the Cromer venue has to offer.”
