RADIO broadcaster and TV presenter Ben Fordham will host a fundraiser for a Frenchs Forest mum who has incurable breast cancer.
The cocktail dress event, at Doltone House, Pyrmont, on June 2, will include an auction with prizes such as an overseas holiday and a chance to join the Sydney Swans for a training session.
Melissa Procter, 39, battled breast cancer and had a double mastectomy two years ago, after noticing a lump while breastfeeding her son. Unfortunately, the cancer came back last October and is now stage four.
A Go Fund Me site was set up by Mrs Procter’s sister Amanda Beale, to help with medical and household bills and to create memories for her three young boys aged seven, five and three — and husband Steve, 37.
As well as searching for new treatments, Mrs Procter hopes she will be able to take her children to Disneyland.
The money raised from the event next month will be split between the charity Pink Hope and Mrs Procter’s Support Embrace Melissa initiative.
The dinner and drinks package costs $120 per person. Bookings can be made at trybooking.com/PMEV.

So far, $100,000 has been raised of a $150,000 target.
