A MEMORIAL ceremony has been planned for Avalon woman Lanell Latta, who was found dead in her home last Monday.

A Go Fund Me page, which has raised more than $19,000 to help cover after-death and funeral expenses, showed plans to farewell the 50-year-old at Clareville Beach on Friday.

“Come join us at 3pm at Clareville Beach to celebrate the life of Lanell,” the update said.

“Her beautiful, kind and ethereal soul touched so many lives.

“We wish to remember her as the shining light that she was in a place that was very special to her.”

Attendees are being encouraged to wear something bright and sparkly for Ms Latta and bring two flowers.

“One to place in a canopy and one to place on the water at the conclusion of her ceremony,” the web page said.

It comes as her partner Geoff Robson-Scott posted a touching tribute to Ms Latta.

“The grief and sadness and sense of loss has been overwhelming,” he said.

“Such a divine, beautiful, girl. So loving, joyous and kind.”
