A CareFlight rescue helicopter landed in Manly after reports a man had a seizure while swimming at the Andrew ‘Boy’ Charlton pool complex.
The chopper landed on L.M. Graham Reserve just after 11am with a critical care doctor and a NSW Ambulance paramedic on-board.
An Ambulance spokesman said the man, 68, had a seizure while swimming.
Several police cars and two ambulances, as well as a paramedic vehicle were also at the scene.
A witness said emergency personnel treated and stabilised the man at the side of one of the centre’s two outdoor pools.
The man was taken by road ambulance to Royal North Shore Hospital at about 11.40am.
A hospital spokesman said on Tuesday that the man was still in hospital in a stable condition.
