A WOMAN returned to her Mt Annan home on Friday afternoon while it was being broken into.
As the woman pulled up to her Kurrajong Circuit home about 3.30pm she saw a flyscreen from a front window had been removed.
Camden police said the woman parked her car in her driveway and then went to a neighbour’s home to ask for help.
“As the homeowner and her neighbour approached the house they heard the screen door bang open and saw two males wearing fluoro hoodies run from the house into a nearby walkway,’’ police said.
Officers canvassed the area and found a witness who reported seeing the men get into a white van parked in Bursaria Rd.
The thieves stole three small gold rings. A number of items had also been removed and placed into the woman’s backpack.
Police found the white van in Macquarie Fields with two fluorescent hoodies inside.
The van and hoodies have been seized for forensic examination.
