ONE person has died and another has been airlifted to hospital after two trucks collided at Wilton this morning.
The crash happened about 3.40am (Wednesday), on Picton Rd near Macarthur Drive when a table-top truck and a car carrier crashed.
The driver of the pantech died at the scene while the driver of the car carrier was trapped in the wreckage for about 90 minutes before being released.
He has now been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition with multiple injuries.
Traffic is still heavy on Picton Rd while the scene is examined and the wreckage removed.
