Five people are now before the courts in relation to the murder, including two women who have been charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder.

The investigation has been led by Strike Force Hardey, made up of detectives from Campbelltown PAC and the State Crime Command homicide squad, to investigate the murder.

Campbelltown PAC crime manager Detective Inspector Greg Inger praised the investigation and community assistance.

“It was a very, very good investigation, very thorough,” he said.

“We worked closely with the community and the family of the deceased to get to this result.”

Inspector Inger said there was no clear motive for the murder but all people involved had been charged.

“We are pleased we have been able to provide the family with some answers on what occurred,” he said.
