Trio face multi-year bans from Camden pubs
Three men have been black-listed from the Camden area’s 100-plus licensed venues for at least the next two years as a result of inappropriate and anti-social behaviour.

Three men have been black-listed from the Camden area’s 100-plus licensed venues for at least the next two years as a result of inappropriate and anti-social behaviour.
Two Narellan men, aged in their early 20s, are expected to be banned for two years following consecutive violent incidents at Mt Annan Hotel and Gregory Hills Hotel in recent weeks.
A third man has been sidelined from the area’s licenced venues for five years after inappropriate behaviour towards a Camden Golf Club female staff member.
The hard line stance follows the Camden Liquor Accord’s state-first red card initiative which proactively removes drunken “galahs” before things get out of hand.
Camden Liquor Accord president Steve Wisbey issued a stern warning to those who wished to take part in anti-social behaviour.
“Just go somewhere else,” he said. “Enjoy having a party in your own lounge room because that is where you are going to end up.”
“We want a safe community. We want people to come out with their families and friends and not have the slightest issue. It is achievable.”
Camden Police Area Command licencing officer Senior Constable Doug Brennan said the community’s safety was paramount.
“People should be able to go to a licenced premises and feel safe to do so,” he said.
“Camden police are proactively addressing anti-social behaviour in the area’s licenced venues.”
