The winner of Camden Christmas Lights Competition best novelty display Boush Abraham, of Ellis Lane, said Christmas was a special time of year.

“It is really rewarding to be recognised as winner after eight weeks of working very hard creating the display,” he said. “Christmas is something which has been special since I was little and a Christmas lights display is a special way to give back.”

With nearly 30,000 light bulbs and eight weeks of manual labour to set up the display, Mr Abraham said raising money for the Shining Star Foundation was worth all the effort.

“The big reward is the huge smiles you see on children as they view the display,” he said
