Teenager arrested in relation to deadly Elderslie house fire and alleged home invasion
A teenager has become the second person charged over an alleged fiery home invasion at Elderslie, during which Hayden Forrest (pictured) was killed.

A teenager has become the second person charged in relation to an alleged arson attempt on an Elderslie family home in June, which led to the fiery death of home invader Hayden Forrest.
A 19-year-old man arrived at Campbelltown Police Station about 8am today where he was arrested and charged with destroy/damage property with intent to endanger life and destroy property in company use fire.
He was the second person charged for his role in the fatal incident with Bradbury roofer Jayden Reed, 23, arrested in July.
He was charged with destroy/damage property with intent to endanger life, destroy property in company by fire, aggravated break and enter in company, destroy/damage property in company and armed with intent. He has not yet entered a plea to all charges.
Emergency services were called to the family home at Crank Place, Elderslie, about 11.40pm June 1 following reports of a home invasion and a house fire. Six people were inside the home at the time of the incident.
Fire and Rescue NSW responded to the blaze and once the fire was extinguished, discovered the body of Hayden Forrest inside the home.
Camden detectives, with help from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad and Financial Crime Squad’s Arson Unit, established Strike Force Cavenagh to investigate the blaze and death of Hayden Forrest.
The 19-year-old was given strict conditional bail to appear at Picton Local Court on December 11.
Investigations into the blaze continue.
