It was a challenging job for first responders who were confronted with a crash scene involving seven patients and four cars spread across 100 metres on a major road in southwest Sydney.

Seven people have been transported to hospital after a four-car crash spanned 100 metres on a major road in southwest Sydney.
Emergency services, including eight ambulance crews and a critical care doctor and critical care paramedic were dispatched to the scene at Bringelly Road, Leppington about 8.30am.
Three women were taken to Liverpool Hospital in serious but stable conditions, two children were taken to Liverpool Hospital in stable conditions and a man and a woman were taken to Campbelltown Hospital in stable conditions.
NSW Ambulance Inspector Joe Ibrahim commended the emergency services who attended the scene.
“This was an incredibly challenging and chaotic situation, involving a large number of patients and four vehicles spread across 100 metres of road,” he said.
“Paramedics did an amazing job working across such a large scene to assess and treat patients, ensuring everyone received an outstanding level of care.
“Considering the number of vehicles and people involved, this incident could have had a much more tragic outcome.”
According to Live Traffic, Bringelly Road has now been reopened.
