RUSE FC have started their trials period for the 2014 M-League season and have invited Macarthur region footballers to help them make the finals.

Coach Shane Healy attributed the 2013 success to last season's recruitment drive and aimed to continue the tradition.

"Our recruitment drive to date has resulted in the turnaround of our M-League squad and we want to attract quality players to Ruse FC for the trial process," he said.

"We have set our sights on finals football for both grades for the 2014 season and we can only achieve that by having new players join our squad.

"Ruse just missed the first grade finals by a point and we led the reserve grade comp for most of the season, until our limited squad numbers came back to haunt us."
