Professional golfer Adriana Brent will settle her eager inner tourist and focus on earning a 2014 season card for the Ladies European Tour when she travels to Morocco later this month.
The 23-year-old, of Narellan Vale, will attempt to secure a card for the (LET) season at one of three Lalla Aicha Tour School 2014 pre-qualifying tournaments in Rabat, Morocco.
To earn a category 8a membership, which would grant her entry into most tournaments on the LET, Brent will have to progress from the pre-qualifier to the four-round final qualifier and finish in the top 60 to make it to the fifth and final round on December 18.
The top 30 players and ties will earn a full 2014 card.
Brent said she felt confident after gaining experience at the USLPGA tour qualifying school in California in August.
"It was a really good experience for me to see the quality of the ladies I'm up against. I'm longer off the tee than most girls but I will have to putt better in Europe," she said.
Brent said her five-hour daily practice sessions, at Camden Lakeside Country Club and The Lakes Golf Club, prepared her for Morocco.
