POLICE are searching for two men who broke into a Tahmoor home in January, assaulting a man and fleeing with jewellery.

POLICE are searching for two men who broke into a Tahmoor home in January, assaulting a man and fleeing with jewellery.

At 9pm on January 4, two man broke into the home on Hunter St while a man and a woman, both aged 22, were in the house.
The man was assaulted and the two intruders demanded cash before damaging property and taking off with the jewellery.
Police were called to the location and a conducted a patrol of the area, but the men could not be located.
A crime scene was established and investigations into the incident commenced by officers from Camden Local Area Command.
The occupants of the home were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Investigators are searching for two men they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The first is described as being caucasian appearance, aged in his early 20s, about 180cm tall, with a solid build and shaved head. The man had his face covered but was seen to have an eyebrow piercing and was carrying a baseball bat.
The second is described as being of caucasian appearance, aged in his mid to late 20s, about 180cm tall and a thin build. He was carrying a machete. Police have released a computerised image of that man.
Both were wearing dark clothing.
