The biggest social event of the year for Camden’s four legged friends is on again.
Camden Council will host its Paws in the Park event on May 5 at the Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park from 9am to 1pm.
The event is open to dogs of all sizes and includes more than 50 information stalls and displays including demonstrations, free vet checks, tips on pet ownership, pet competitions, children’s activities, food stalls and photo booths.
TV vet Dr Harry Cooper will be the special guest on the day.
Camden Mayor Therese Fedeli said the day was a fantastic opportunity for people and pets to socialise.
“As Camden’s population has increased so has pet ownership,” she said.
“This is a great day for people to have fun but also learn about the services available for their animals.”
