Prosecutors will claim the alleged armed robber who used a shotgun to terrify a southwest Sydney jewellery store business was on a four-day crime spree, it can be revealed.

Paul Flanagan, 23, fronted Campbelltown Local Court via video link on Wednesday, charged with a string of offences over three separate incidents including armed robberies and a break and enter.

The Busby man allegedly fired a .22 gauge shotgun during a robbery of a Carnes Hill Marketplace retailer on October 24.

Police allege Flanagan entered the store and threatened a 52-year-old employee with a firearm before shooting the weapon and grabbing jewellery before fleeing on a motorcycle.

A short time later, police saw a motorcycle that matched the description of the bike seen leaving the shopping centre, with a rider and a pillion passenger.

Flanagan got off the bike at Busby, where he allegedly threatened police officers with a shotgun before dropping it and running.

He was arrested nearby after a short foot pursuit. Police are still searching for the driver of the motorbike.

Court documents reveal police will allege just four days beforehand on October 20, Flanagan broke into a home at Bonnyrigg and stole $100, keys and a collection of luxury items from brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior and Gucci.

Then on October 22, police will allege Flanagan committed a car robbery at 5.30am at Busby while armed with a firearm.

They will further allege on the same day he broke into a Busby home and stole keys from the residence.

At court on Wednesday, a representative of the Director of Public Prosecutions confirmed the charges had been certified and a case conference would take place.

Flanagan remains in custody on remand and is due to return to court in July.
