NSW coronavirus: Macarthur Tavern, Wests League Club closed for cleaning, confirmed case
Four venues in southwest Sydney have now been impacted by COVID-19 with infected people visiting the Campbelltown and Leumeah venues.

Four licensed venues in southwest Sydney have been impacted by COVID-19 with Campbelltown and Leumeah venues revealing confirmed cases visited the locations in recent days.
In a statement, Macarthur Tavern revealed an infected person visited the popular establishment for three hours on Saturday, between 9pm and midnight.
The pub has closed it’s doors this morning for cleaning.
“The whole venue is undergoing a deep clean by a company that specialises in deep clean sanitising as an extra precaution,” the statement said.
“We are confident that we will be successful in sanitising the venue and stop the spread of the virus.”
Macarthur Tavern plans to be back in operation by 3pm today.
Wests Group Macarthur has also confirmed an infected person visited Leumeah’s Wests League Club on two separate occasions.
The person was at the venue about 8pm Friday and visited again in the early hours of Sunday.
The club is being cleaned and will reopen at 12 noon today.
“We are very committed to the safety of our staff, customers, and wider community and will continue to operate under the advice of NSW Health given to us,” the statement said.
“NSW Health advice only requires those experiencing symptoms are encouraged to get tested and stay home. We are looking forward to welcoming you all back soon.”
Other southwest Sydney venues to be impacted by COVID-19 include the Crossroads Hotel in Casula and Picton’s Picton Hotel.
