Narellan Town Centre manager Brad Page said it was exciting to celebrate what had been achieved since August last year.

“It was a lot of hard work to get the town centre open a year ago. and since we have opened a lot of good things have happened,” he said.

“The centre is trading well, we are getting lots of customers through the centre — we actually got 10 million people through the last 12 months.

“A lot of people are now staying in the area rather than leaving to go and do their shopping.

“We are very proud with what we have done at Narellan Town Centre … the community is now serving itself … we are giving ourselves jobs.”

Twelve months ago Narellan Town Centre was declared as “coming of age”, with Premier Gladys Berejiklian joining the spectacular celebrations.

The 70,000sq m complex now consists of 220 retail stores, a new north building, a retail bridge and 3000 carparking spaces.

Mr Page said Narellan Town Centre will continue to cater for the growing community moving forward.

“There are always plans for Narellan Town Centre,” he said.

“As the community grows the centre will continue to grow, and as more people come into the area it will give us an opportunity to bring more services into the centre.”
