MICHAELA Whitehouse finished her junior career in style with six gold medals at the 2013 Australian Gymnastics Championships at Homebush earlier this month.
Whitehouse, 16, started the tournament with a gold medal tie with NSW teammate Tara Wilkie in the all-round event, before NSW took out team gold.
The Mt Annan resident then dominated the ball, hoop, ribbon and club finals en route to a gold medal cleansweep.
Whitehouse was the only NSW junior athlete to win gold in all events and was awarded joint Junior International Australian Champion with Wilkie.
Mother Tanya said victory represented her incredible work ethic.
"We were so incredibly proud of her efforts," she said.
