Matthew Warren, 23, had been at a backyard party in Rosemeadow, when the woman arrived to pick him up last November.

Warren was assaulted by a male at the party as he was leaving at around 5pm, and later blamed the victim for his bloody nose, according to court documents.

He then ordered the woman to drive him to Rosemeadow McDonald’s before he punched her several times in the head and arms while waiting in the drive thru, agreed police facts reveal.

The victim then drove Warren back to his Ambarvale home where he told her to ‘get the f*** inside.’

The physical assault continued inside the home as Warren elbowed, kneed and punched the woman to the back of the head causing a wound as he dragged her by the hair.

During the ordeal, Warren also put his hands around the woman’s neck, leaving her struggling to breath.
