Man pinned between excavator and ute suffers serious injuries

A man, believed to be in his early 30s, is being raced to Westmead Hospital after he was pinned between an excavator and ute at a Bringelly site earlier this afternoon.

A man has suffered significant lower body injuries after he was pinned between an excavator and a ute at Bringelly.

The man, believed to be in his early 30s, is in a serious but stable condition and is currently being transported by road to Westmead Hospital.

It is not yet known how the man became pinned between the two vehicles.

Four ambulance crews and a rescue helicopter attended the incident, which took place on the corner of The Northern Rd and Dwyer Rd, after NSW Ambulance received a call about 12.45pm.
