A 54-year-old man has died after a crash with a truck before his car hit a tree at Wilton, with police investigating what caused the horror incident.

Police are investigating the moments leading up to the death of a man after a truck and car crashed forcing the latter vehicle off the road and into a tree.
About 7.45pm on Thursday, emergency services were called to Picton Road, Wilton, about 3km west of Macarthur Rd, following reports a car and a truck had collided.
Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command, with the assistance of the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit, arrived and found a Toyota Yaris and a truck had collided in the eastbound lane before the Toyota left the roadway, crashing into a tree.
The driver of the car, a 54-year-old man, tragically died at the scene.
A crime scene was established, and an investigation has commenced into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A 42-year-old man was breath tested at the scene and produced a negative result. He was taken to Campbelltown Hospital for mandatory testing.
As inquiries continue, police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have dashcam footage to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
