RUSE teenager Maeghan Robinson bowled her way into Campbelltown-Camden District Cricket Club history with her double hat-trick.
The 15-year-old took an incredible four wickets in four balls during the Ghosts' Brewer Shield under-17s victory against Bankstown last month.
The St Patrick's College Campbelltown student bowled figures of 4-0, which included two clean bowls, as well as providing wicketkeeper Hannah Trethewy with a stumping and a catch.
After helping the Ghosts to a 237-run total during their 40 over match with her 16 runs, Robinson's four-wicket haul aided the Ghosts in restricting Bankstown to 73 runs.
The pace bowler said she was excited to earn the club milestone.
"I didn't realise my double hat-trick was so special until I came off the field and everyone was giving me high-fives and saying it was the club's first," she said.
"Once I knew that I was so excited. Because it was Bankstown's tail end I knew the batters would have a good swing, so I just kept calm.
"I've been bowling really well, but I guess I just had an amazing four balls and everything fell into place."
The win lifted the Ghosts to fourth place on the Brewer Shield ladder.
The NSW under-17s indoor representative said she hoped to follow a similar outdoor cricket path to national stars Sarah Coyte and Ellyse Perry.
"I want to take outdoor cricket as far as I can; I'm in the NSW under-17s indoor side and we've got some big tournaments coming up this year," she said.
"I'm in the NSW outdoor city side, but I want to crack into the state team and see how far my career can go.
"I really look up to players like Sarah, Ellyse and Alex Blackwell."
