A woman has been charged for allegedly being in possession of multiple illegal firearms and illicit drugs in southwest Sydney.
Police seized a semi-automatic assault rifle, a shortened rifle, ammunition, prohibited weapons, cannabis and a stolen Yamaha motorcycle allegedly belonging to the woman.
Campbelltown police allege they discovered the items after searching a house at Marlock Place in Macquarie Fields around 7am Tuesday.
The woman was charged for being in possession of a shortened firearm, possessing an unauthorised prohibited firearm, possessing a prohibited weapon, possessing ammunition without a licence, having goods in custody that are suspected of being stolen, possessing drugs and driving while disqualified.
She was refused bail and will appear at Campbelltown Local Court on Wednesday 28 February.
