Macquarie Fields Leisure Centre will be transformed into an outdoor cinema for a screening of the animated classic, Finding Nemo on February 9.

The film will be shown on a 12 sqm screen beside the pool so people can sit and watch from in the pool on a pool ring or sit on a chair or blanket around the pool.

The movie screening is part of a new Campbelltown Council initiative called Floovies.

Floovies starts at 6pm and the Finding Nemo movie will screen from 6.30pm.

The cost is pool admission, which is $6.50 for adults, $4 for children and young people aged six to 17 years and free for children under six years of age. Inflatable pool rings can be hired from 6pm at a cost of $3 but numbers are limited.

People are unable to bring their own pool inflatables for safety reasons and to ensure everyone can see the movie screen.
