It will be Sydney’s largest teppanyaki bar and it’s coming to the Narellan Town Centre.

The locally-owned Sasuki restaurant is set to be the Macarthur region’s first ever teppanyaki restaurant and will open with the Narellan Town Centre’s new dining precinct in late October.

Teppanyaki is a Japanese cuisine that uses an iron griddle to cook food.

Sasuki visual marketing officer Serena Ryan said the new restaurant would be among the highlights of the shopping centre’s dining precinct.

“It’s going to be like nothing the area’s had before, a real local entertainment restaurant,” she said.

The restaurant won’t just feature a teppanyaki bar, but also a bespoke sushi bar and a private dining section for functions.

“It’s been something that we can see there was a need for, it mixes things up a little as there’s nothing like it in the Macarthur region,” Ms Ryan said.

“There’s been a lot of great feedback already on our Facebook page, it didn’t take very long to get it up to 1000 likes. People seem excited.

“There’s not a lot of teppanyaki restaurants around Sydney but families seem to love them and are willing to travel a fair way to go to one.”
