A woman has had a “lucky escape” after her car crashed into a home in southwest Sydney.
Shortly after 12.45, emergency services were called to McEwan Circuit in Mount Annan after reports that a car had crashed into a house.
Two paramedic road crews and Fire and Rescue NSW team were dispatched to the scene. On arrival, paramedics assessed one female patient believed to be in her 70s.
She was transported to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.
NSW Ambulance Inspector Andrew Cullen said the driver had a very lucky escape.
“Despite the significant impact of the car into the house, she avoided serious injury,” he said.
“The patient was mildly disoriented, so we transported her to hospital for further observation.”
A statement from FRNSW said the Technical Rescue Truck also attended to secure the structure as there was significant damage to the house and roof.
