A MULTIMILLION-dollar masterplan of Elderslie’s Kirkham Park will be considered for public exhibition by Camden Council.

The $3 million first stage of the masterplan will feature an expansion of the BMX track, an upgrade to the skate park and playground, an additional full-size rugby league field and modified rugby league field.

The Kirkham Park site is currently used for sports including cricket, rugby league, BMX and skateboarding.

It was previously the home for Camden and District Netball, before relocating to Narellan Sports Hub in recent months.

The masterplan identifies opportunities to accommodate the future growth of sporting and recreational needs in the area.

The draft Kirkham Park masterplan will be considered for public exhibition at Tuesday’s meeting.
