The co-founder of national beauty empire The Lip Lab has had criminal charges of commercial drug supply and dealing with the property proceeds of crime sensationally dropped, 18 months after being arrested at a Camden beauty business.
Mother-of-two Kimberley Treacy had been committed to stand trial in the District Court on five offences, including supplying a prohibited drug greater or equal to a large commercial quantity.
The 30-year-old had pleaded not guilty to all charges in Campbelltown Local Court in November.
However, Judge Antony Townsden in Campbelltown District Court last week made an order for no further proceedings on all offences.
Ms Treacy was charged in March 2019 following a lengthy police investigation by Strike Force Algid into the supply of ice and cocaine in southwest Sydney. The Oran Park woman was accused of being a mid-level dealer in a drug syndicate in 2016 and 2017.
The 30-year-old remains before the local court on four fraud-related charges, stemming from the same investigation. No pleas have yet been entered.
