Today's forecast is mostly cloudy; rain developing; sw winds.

At 8am today, expect a dry day with a dew point of 8.6. The temperature will feel more like a cool 11.5 with a relative humidity of 70 per cent.

The highest expected temperature today is 18, which is 5 degrees lower than yesterday's max.

Warmer conditions are expected on five of the next six days, with the mercury climbing above today's maximum on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Showers are less likely tomorrow with the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting a medium (50 per cent) chance of rain.

The UV index is predicted to be 3. There is a moderate risk of harm from sun exposure. Experts suggest covering up, using sunscreen outside and avoiding the sun around noon.

Winds will be southwest around 14 km/h in the morning shifting to south-southwest around 22 km/h in the afternoon.
