The historic Menangle Park House site will be reborn once more, with the venue to re-open for the first time in coming weeks as Menangle Country Club.

The old-style pub charm and picturesque landscaped gardens will remain a feature of the iconic venue which will throw open its doors to the public on Friday, February 7.

Owned by Club Menangle, a $10 million project recently took place on the site to deliver a state-of-the-art hub with multiple bars, children’s playgrounds and delicious food selection.

Club Menangle chief executive Bruce Christison said he was excited to bring the site back to its former glory, with a few weatherproofing improvements.

“I know what a great venue it was and I am really excited to see it come back to the life for the community,” he said.

The heritage-listed two-storey inn located on the site was built in 1834, with the venue last operating in 2015 under the name of the Horse and Jockey Inn.

Mr Christison said plans had been lodged with Campbelltown Council to restore the historic stone stable into a wine or whisky bar however, there are no plans in the near future to alter the historic inn building.
