PASSIONATE Western Sydney Wanderers fans went as far as decorating their Mt Annan house and ute in support of the club's tilt at Sunday's A-League grand final.
The McDonald family's cheers turned to heartache when the Central Coast Mariners beat the Wanderers 2-0 to claim the title.
The family caused a stir when they borrowed the Wanderers banners from Parramatta Council and draped them over their house. Taylor McDonald, 16, was at Allianz Stadium to watch the grand final.
He said the atmosphere at the stadium was great.
"The journey the Wanderers have taken us on is fantastic and it was amazing to be there on Sunday."
Taylor and his family have been Wanderers fans from the very beginning.
"We're all dedicated fans, and we'll continue to follow them next season. It's been great to get caught up in the hype, especially with the winning streak they went on to win the premiership."
