Disqualified driver charged after police pursuit of stolen car in Leumeah
A man, who had been disqualified from driving until 2034, has been charged following a short police pursuit of a stolen car in Leumeah.

A MAN, who had been disqualified from driving until 2034, has been charged following a short police pursuit in Leumeah.
Shortly before 7pm last night, Traffic and Highway Patrol Command officers tried to stop a stolen Holden sedan on Pembroke Rd.
Officers allege a police pursuit was initiated after the car failed to stop.
The pursuit was terminated a short time later when the Holden stopped on Rudd Rd and the driver got out of the car.
Police started a short foot pursuit before the man, 26, was arrested.
During a struggle, a male senior constable injured his knee.
Police checks showed the man was disqualified from driving until 2034.
He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station and charged with driving while disqualified, taking and using a conveyance, two counts of resisting arrest and one count of assault police.
The man was refused bail to appear in Campbelltown Local Court later today.
