Chill Fest 2023: How to get there, rides, opening hours, cost
One of Campbelltown’s parks will once again transform into a winter wonderland for the return of a popular festival. Here’s what you need to know.

Koshigaya Park will once again transform into a winter wonderland during the July school holidays for Chill Fest.
Campbelltown Council is hosting the event from June 30 to July 16.
On Fridays [excluding opening night] and Saturdays the event will run from 11am to 11pm and Sunday to Thursdays from 11am to 10pm.
Mayor George Greiss said this year’s Chill Fest would have some great new additions while retaining the atmosphere and winter-themed activities that everyone enjoy.
“Grab your winter clothes and join us for a great festival in the heart of Campbelltown,” he said.
Here’s everything you need to know.
COST
Entry to the event is free, so families and friends can wander around the event and take in the Winter Wonderland atmosphere.
Tickets for the ice-skating rink, private dining experiences inside the igloos, and sessions on the ice slide as well as ride coupons can be purchased in advance or on the day at the ticket booth.

WHAT’S ON OFFER
Ride attractions include the mini pirate ship, space jam, bungy‘s, the carousel, cars 4 kids, cup and saucer, flying elephants, body rock, sea circus, sizzle, rockin’ tug, round up, candy swing, hurricane, mini ferris wheel, wild mouse and ghost train.
Spectacular Roving entertainers are also sure to delight the young and old including the Treetop Circus.
Families can also roam the new Winter Neon Garden, a glowing fluorescent garden to explore, with lots of fun photo moments to discover along the way.
Another new attraction is the private igloo dining which family, friends or couples can book for a meal from Enzo’s Macarthur Square, served straight to their table.
There will be a range of delicious winter-themed food and drink options are available from food tricks throughout the grounds, and festival-goers can even toast marshmallows over a fire pit.
HOW TO GET THERE
The event is happening in Koshigaya Park which is within walking distance of Campbelltown train station, with bus links to Campbelltown Mall which is adjacent to the park.
The best parking for the event is at the rooftop carpark at Campbelltown Mall, with access via Hurley Park.
OPENING NIGHT
Chill Fest event opens to the public from 5pm on June 30, and an opening ceremony will kick off from 6pm with speeches and a spectacular ice-skating performance then DJ On The Ice.
The icerink will be unavailable for bookings between 5 to 7pm while the ceremony is under way and will re-open to the community afterwards.
QUIET HOUR AND LOW SENSORY SESSIONS
This year, Campbelltown Council have introduced a new low sensory Sunday session on July 9 from 11am to 12.30pm.
There will be no loud music, announcements, spruiking or flashing lights during this session creating a calm and relaxing environment for people to enjoy a morning at Chill Fest.
Anyone can attend this session and the event is open to all during this session. Normal ticket prices apply for this session.
Quiet sessions are also being held for Chill Fest, but bookings for these are now full.
