A man has been accused of sexually touching a 13-year-old girl after allegedly grooming her on social media in southwest Sydney.
Following investigations, police allege 20-year-old Raby man Charbel Nakad contacted the underage girl on social media and “conversed” with her before they met.
Nakad is accused of sexually touching the 13-year-old girl on multiple occasions before he was arrested by Bankstown police.
He has been charged with intentionally touching a child under 16, procuring a child for unlawful sexual activity, intentionally inciting a child under 16 to sexually touch, and stalking or intimidation to cause fear of mental or physical harm.
Nakad was granted bail when he faced Bankstown Local Court and is set to appear in Campbelltown Local Court later this month.
