A CAMPBELLTOWN teenager was allegedly thrown off a bridge into the Hawkesbury River on Sunday morning, with three people charged with attempted murder.
Police will allege the 19-year-old had been held against her will by a group of people from Saturday night, transported from Campbelltown to Windsor in the boot of a car.
After the teenager was allegedly thrown off the seven-metre-high Windsor Bridge, she swam to the riverbank and alerted police.
Police were called to George St, Windsor about 5am on Sunday morning with the victim taken to Nepean Hospital for treatment.
Three people have been charged for the alleged incident, facing charges of attempted murder, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery.
Officers from Hawkesbury Police Area Command initiated inquiries and arrested a 19-year-old woman on Tuesday and a 17-year-old girl on Wednesday afternoon at Windsor police station.
Both females have been charged with attempted murder, aggravated kidnapping, wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and robbery with wounding.
On Wednesday night, a 22-year-old man was arrested at Windsor police station, charged with attempted murder, detain for advantage in company, aggravated robbery and wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The 19-year-old woman was refused bail to appear in Penrith Local Court yesterday, where she was refused bail to reappear at the same court on November 23.
The younger girl and 22-year-old man both were refused bail to appear today at a Children’s Court and Penrith Local Court respectively.
Inquiries are continuing.
