A 25-year-old man has been charged with murder – the second man to allegedly be involved in a fatal stabbing in 2022 in Sydney’s southwest.

Campbelltown police arrested the 25-year-old at a correctional facility on NSW’s mid-north coast on Thursday.

Another 25-year-old man was charged by police on February 15 in relation to the incident, and was arrested near Wyong in Gorokan.

Police will allege the 25-year-old victim arrived at Campbelltown Hospital just after 9.00pm on November 19, 2022 with stabbing injuries, and died despite efforts from medical staff.

Both men have been charged with murder with the most recently charged 25-year-old being refused bail and expected to appear at Kempsey Local Court on March 1.

The 25-year-old Gorokan man’s case is still ongoing and remains before the court.

Police have said Strike Force Taralye is continuing investigations into the incident.
