Anzac Day 2018 dawn services and marches in the Macarthur area

Here’s our list of Anzac Day dawn services and marches in the Macarthur area, as well as where to pay Two-Up.

THOUSANDS of veterans, families and people of all ages will honour Australia’s military efforts at Anzac Day services across the Macarthur region on Wednesday.

Here’s our list of services:

Campbelltown RSL Sub-branch will hold a dawn service at Mawson Park from 5.40am on Anzac Day. The main march will form up at the corner of Queen and Dumerasq street from 8.30am. A service will be held immediately following the march at Mawson Park.

Ingleburn RSL Sub-branch will hold a dawn service in the Memorial Garden at Ingleburn RSL Club, at 70 Chester Rd, Ingleburn at 5am.

Breakfast will be served afterwards in the RSL.

A further service will be held at Denham Court Anglican Church from 10am on Anzac Day.

CAMDEN

An Anzac Day dawn service, led by Camden RSL Sub-Branch, will take place at Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park Memorial Site, on Anzac Day from 5.15am sharp.

The popular Anzac Day march will follow, beginning at 10.30am, along Argyle St to Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park for a Anzac Day commemoration service, from 11am.

Carrington Centennial Care’s Anzac Day service will take place on Tuesday, April 24, at 10.30am.

Wivenhoe Retirement Village Anzac Day service will take place on Tuesday, April 24, at 2.30pm.

WOLLONDILLY

Picton-Thirlmere-Bargo RSL Sub-Branch Anzac march and service will take place at Thirlmere Memorial Park this Sunday at 2pm.

A march will begin from outside Thirlmere IGA at 1.30pm.

Picton Anzac Day committee’s traditional Anzac Day march will start from behind Picton Hotel at 6.30am on April 25, followed by a 7am service at Picton Memorial Park (pictured).

An Anzac Day commemoration service will be held at Bargo Sports Club Auditorium on April 25 at 11am.

Annzac Day service will also be held at RSL Lifecare Taara Gardens, at Thirlmere, on Tuesday, April 24, at 10.30am.

TWO-UP

The much-loved Anzac Day tradition of Two-Up will also be held at clubs across the Macarthur region on Wednesday.

Bargo Sports Club, 3580 Remembrance Drive, Bargo, from 2pm to 5pm.

The Oaks Hotel, 36 John St, The Oaks, from noon.

Gregory Hills Hotel, Central Hills Drive, Gregory Hills, from noon.

Narellan Hotel, 279 Camden Valley Way, Narellan, from 11am.
