NARELLAN amateur golfer Adriana Brent is seeking the community's help to raise money for her quest to secure a US LPGA or European tour card.
Brent will travel to tour schools in Florida and Morocco late this year in an attempt to secure a spot on either of the prestigious female golfing tours.
A fundraiser will be held at Camden Lakeside Country Club's golf day on Monday, March 11. Cost is $125. Proceeds will help meet Brent's travel expenses.
Brent said a card for either tour would be a dream come true.
"I've been playing for 10 years and playing professionally has always been my goal," he said.
"Europe would be good because I can base myself with relatives in England, but America is the big time."
Brent said she would draw confidence from her driving distance, averaging over 240m off the tee.
"It's up there and inspiring to know I can bomb it past most of the ladies," she said.
Until the first stage of USLPA tour school in September, Brent said she would focus on her short game from 100m and in.
"I'm usually at the course from 8am until the end of the day, focusing on my putting and shots from inside 100m," she said.
"I also spend an hour at the gym each day to give my driving a boost."
Brent will draw on her excellent results in last year's NSW Women's Open, in which she played with former world No. 1 Laura Davies and placed 42nd.
