Alkalizer Cafe wins Macarthur Chronicle’s best coffee poll

The Macarthur Chronicle’s search for the region’s best coffee has unearthed a champion, with Campbelltown’s Alkalizer cafe the overwhelming winner in an online poll.

The Macarthur Chronicle’s search for the region’s best coffee has unearthed a champion, with Campbelltown’s Alkalizer cafe the overwhelming winner in an online poll.

The homely cafe, nestled in Campbelltown Council’s administration building, polled 38 per cent of the votes, competing against 11 of the region’s favourite coffee houses.

Campbelltown’s Bar Centrale also shared the love, receiving 24 per cent of the votes.

Campbelltown’s Seta’s Cafe was a controversial omission from the poll, with many readers sharing their affection on the Chronicle’s social media channels.

Other popular cafes on the online poll included Campbelltown’s Leaf Cafe & Co, Oran Park’s Daily Bean and Camden’s R Coffee Co.
