A family of baby seagulls have been reunited after being dumped in Leumeah

A FAMILY of baby seagulls has been reunited after they were dumped near a petrol station at Leumeah recently.

A FAMILY of baby seagulls has been reunited after they were dumped near a petrol station at Leumeah recently.

WIRES Sydney South West bird co-ordinator Inga Tiere said the three birds were found by members of the public and taken to different vets.

The seagulls were taken to several local vets and later reunited.

“They love to eat, not too much fish and chips of course, but they’re eating well,” she said.

The birds were wrongly identified as a variety of different species before they were recognised as seagulls.

“They need to be released where they came from so I’ll take them down to Wollongong beach,” Ms Tiere said.
