The Waverley College student said he trained both on and off the water. “I spend three days per week racing and training and two days a week at the NSW Institute of Sport for strength and conditioning training,” he said. “I love competing. Simply trying to be the best.”
Will is a Southern Courier nominee for Junior Sports Star Individual at the 2019 Local Sports Awards, an award he won last year.
The awards are proudly supported by Bankstown Sports and Featherdale Wildlife Park. They are aimed at athletes aged 18 and under with categories including Team of Excellence and Inspiration. There is no age limit for the Service to Sport category.
