Commitment and dedication to her craft has seen Riverstone teenager Holly Pender rise to the top of futsal.
The 16-year-old St John Paul II Catholic College student added to her already- extensive sporting resume this year when she received the age champion award for 15 girls from Football NSW Futsal. St John Paul II Catholic College’s communications and marketing officer Rachel Aquilina said the school congratulated Holly on her success.
“It’s great to see that she has not only continued her training in the off-season, but reached new personal bests and achievements in the process.”
Holly is the latest nominee for the Rouse Hill Times Local Sports Stars award.
The awards are on until August 31. Prizes will be awarded to athletes aged 18 and under across four categories: Junior Sports Star Individual, Junior Sports Star Team, Young Sporting Spirit Individual and Young Sporting Spirit Team. There is also an open-age Service To Sport category.
