Teen dies following stabbing in Miller

A teenager has died following a stabbing in Sydney’s southwest last week. Police have been told the 18-year-old man died in hospital over the weekend.

A teenager has died following a stabbing in Sydney’s southwest last week.

Emergency services were called to Woodward Cres, Miller, following reports of a stabbing just after 9pm on October 1.

On arrival, police officers found an 18-year-old man suffering serious wounds to his neck and performed CPR before the man was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.

A short time later, a 19-year-old man presented to Liverpool Hospital suffering stab wounds to his back.

A crime scene was established and an investigation into the circumstances launched under Strike Force Tibble. Police are of the belief both incidents are linked.

Strike force investigators were told the 18-year-old man died in hospital over the weekend.

Anyone with further information is urged to come forward.
