About midday today a woman, 41, was arrested at Silverwater and charged with two counts of murder.
Both were refused bail. The man will face Campbelltown Court in November, while the woman will front Parramatta Court tomorrow.
It follows the arrest on Monday of 25-year-old Kevin Ly, who allegedly acted as a henchman in a drug syndicate.
The Condell Park man, who fronted Fairfield Local Court on Tuesday, was charged with two counts of murder. He was formally refused bail.
During a brief court appearance, Mr Ly waved to a group of supporters from the dock before exiting.
Homicide Squad detectives arrested the man during a vehicle stop at Merrylands West about 1pm on Monday.
Police will allege the de facto couple were lured to a Canley Vale home, where they were brutally beaten to death.
In documents tendered to the court, it is alleged Mr Ly was involved in the murder of the couple in an attempt to recover drugs purportedly stolen by Mr Nguyen, who police believe was working as a drug cook in a major drug manufacturing operation.
The case was adjourned to November 15 at Central Local Court.
